About the developer
Tarun Jangwal (ProfTarun)
Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science and Engineering

I teach CSE326 Internet Programming: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the browser's APIs, and taking a website live with Git and GitHub. I built this site so that every topic of the course has one page where all its commands sit together, compared side by side, with comments that a first-year student who has never programmed can follow.
How these examples were made
Each example is the last example of a chapter of the course textbook. It was written to hold every command of that chapter, then checked by running it in a real browser, and a sample of its TRY lines were tested by making the change and running it again. The word meanings you see when you point at the code come from the same dictionary used in my classroom walkthroughs.
